With over 13 years of surgical practice in the UAE, she has made significant contributions to advancing surgical care, research, and medical education in Dubai. She established the Thyroid Surgery Unit at Dubai Hospital and serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Dubai Medical University. She is also a Senior Examiner at Dubai Medical College for Girls (DMCG) and an invited speaker at multiple national and international medical conferences. Dr. Aliya is actively involved in clinical leadership, academic training, research, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary cancer care, making her one of the most respected surgeons in the region.
