يعمل الدكتور وجدي مikhail في مستشفى التضاوي التخصصي كأخصائي في أمراض الجهاز الهضمي. بدأ مسيرته العلمية بتخرجه من جامعة الإسكندرية في يوليو 1972، ثم تابع تدريبه في الطب الباطني في الكويت والمملكة المتحدة. وعلى مدى أربعين عاماً من الممارسة، تركز اهتمامه على أمراض الجهاز الهضمي وتشعباتها. يقصد المرضى عيادته لإجراء تنظير تشخيصي وعلاجي للجهاز الهضمي العلوي والسفلي، وكذلك تنظير الكبسولة بالفيديو. كما يتولى إدارة أمراض الكبد، بما فيها التهاب الكبد، ومتابعة مرضى زراعة الكبد. ويشمل نطاق رعايته التهاب المريء الارتدادي، واضطرابات الحركة، ومتلازمة القولون العصبي، وأمراض الأمعاء الالتهابية، إلى جانب فحص سرطان القولون والمستقيم. ويتيح جهاز فيبروسكان غير الجراحي قياس تليف الكبد والتشمع. ويكتمل هذا Approach بتقديم إرشادات غذائية لحالات الجهاز الهضمي. يتحدث الدكتور Mikhail اللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.
