Fifteen years in cardiology have given Dr. Behrad Elahi a depth of practice that shows in the range of procedures he handles today. He serves as a Specialist Interventional Cardiologist at Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai, where his work centres on complex coronary interventions and structural heart procedures. Robotic PCI is among his core interests, alongside the treatment of calcified lesions using rotational atherectomy and intravascular lithotripsy. He also performs intra-coronary imaging with IVUS and OCT, and carries out aortic structural interventions. His medical degree and subspecialty training came from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where he ranked third in Iran and graduated with A+ standing. Further clinical training took him to Tehran, Zurich and the UAE, and he holds fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology, certification from the American College of Cardiology, and certification in aortic structural intervention from Zurich University.
