Dr. Iyad Armoush is a specialist ophthalmologist with two decades of experience in caring for patients' eyes. He earned his medical degree from Paris University 7th and holds the Arab Board of Ophthalmology, a certificate of specialty in ophthalmology, and A.F.S.A. in ophthalmology. Since October 2014, he has practiced as a specialist ophthalmologist at Canadian Specialist Hospital in Dubai. His clinical focus covers general ophthalmology along with ocular surface and dry eye diseases, refractive surgery, anterior segment conditions, and cataract extraction with intraocular lens placement. He also manages glaucoma and intraocular pressure control, treats lacrimal canal disease surgically, screens for and treats diabetic retinopathy, and evaluates and surgically repairs squint in children. Before moving to Dubai, he worked at Alzahra Eye Centre for Perfect Vision in Damascus and at Royal Commission Hospital in Saudi Arabia, and completed postgraduate training in the anterior segment and retina department in Paris. Dr. Armoush speaks Arabic and English, allowing him to serve a wide range of patients.
