Dr. Ehab El Rayes trained at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. He later completed a Master's degree in Ophthalmology at Cairo University, a fellowship with Associated Retinal Consultants in Royal Oak, Michigan, and a research fellowship at the Research Eye Institute, Oakland University. A doctoral degree in Ophthalmology followed from Cairo University. Today he serves as an Ophthalmology Consultant at Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai, where his practice centres on all retinal conditions. Patients come to him for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment, among other concerns. He speaks Arabic and English, which helps him guide patients from different backgrounds through diagnosis and treatment. His approach combines careful assessment with clear explanations, so people understand what is happening with their eyes and what steps come next.
